Zevenhuizerplas was created by sand extraction for the Zevenkamp and Nesselande neighbourhoods. The lake is deep everywhere, perfect for foiling. It lies between Rotterdam-East and Zuidplas and offers perfect conditions for windsurfing and wingfoiling.

Windsurfen is weer helemaal booming. Meer en meer mensen zoeken naar vrijheid en nieuwe manieren om buiten te sporten. Corona heeft dit nog een extra boost gegeven.

Na het artikel in het Algemeen Dagblad van gisteren is er ook vandaag weer aandacht besteed in de krant aan het volbouwen van de oevers van de Zevenhuizerplas.
